Comment: I purchased this package and when I received it I was shocked to see it has some off-brand 15 watt amp. The up-front description and other review says that it has a better 20 watt amp. The photo amp is also not correct. The list of parts does say 15 amp - but you must search to see it. Beware of this site. Bad business practice of bait and switch - shame on you Amazon.

Summary: Great for the money
Comment: I first looked at this bass guitar reading the review of Stewart Teaze of the Yamaha ERB070 Bass Guitar Package. When I purchased the bass guitar I was pleasantly surprised by its quality, sound and feel. I am happy I went for this Yamaha Gigmaker EB because for 70 odd dollars more, you get a better guitar and 13 more watts on the amp. The amp works great btw, quiet enough to practice but loud enough to play gigs if need be. I highly recommend this product if your a serious beginner/intermediate bass player.
